Fashion Week Cliff Notes, Day 8: Lara Stone Shines at Calvin, Ralph Goes East, Poodles on the Runway at Isaac, Plus More!

Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Isaac Mizrahi Fall 2011.

Left to right: Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, poodles and cake at Isaac Mizrahi.

  • Lara Stone closed the Calvin Klein show in her first runway appearance this season. Her gold shift was something to behold, as was the front-row troika of Kate Bosworth, Kerry Washington and Zoe Saldana, all looking gorgeous.
  • Ralph Lauren's Asian inspiration this season translated into lovely, languid gowns like the one above.
  • Isaac Mizrahi's pup Harry is a constant companion, so it's no surprise that the designer paid tribute to man's best friend, with poodles walking the runway. Of course, they were dyed in bright pastels for the occasion.
  • Thursday was a good day for fashion foodies: Mizrahi showed glittery cakes on his runway (and fed them to happy audience members), while L'Wren Scott served up pot pie at her annual lunch-cum-presentation and lobster rolls were doled out at Bill Blass. Here's to finishing fashion week well-fed!
  • Young designer Julian Louie had another strong showing. Check out this photo of Joanna Hillman with some of her favorite pieces for fall.
  • Some more great shots on Twitter: Derek Blasberg celebrated with Terry Richardson and Brad Goreski, David Thielebeule spoted this pink dress-pink poodle combo at Isaac Mizrahi, and we got a great shot of the finale at Ralph Lauren.
